DESCRIPTION

CLEAR-SHIELD-UA outstanding performance is due to the unique customized formulation of self cross linking modified urethane, blended with acrylic co-polymers, thus resulting in an excellent high performance coating. CLEAR-SHIELD-UA is designed for use on exterior and interior concrete where a premium high quality product is required. Easily applied CLEAR-SHIELD-UA will dry to a very durable film that has excellent impact, abrasion and weathering abilities. CLEAR-SHIELD-UA also exhibits great resistance to oil and gasoline products. CLEAR-SHIELD-UA is recommended for commercial, industrial and residential use.

CLEAR-SHIELD-UA is packaged in 1 gallon units, 5 gallon units and 55-gallon units. Shelf life is one year if properly stored in its sealed container. Rotate your stock.

 

SURFACE PREPARATION... back to top

Surface must be clean, dry and free of all foreign contaminates (oil, grease, dirt, dust, cleaners, etc). After cleaning the surface be sure all residue is removed with clean water. Be sure not only to remove all chemical residue but also dust, vacuum or sweep. Read all product labels and instructions. Always do a test area with all products in an inconspicuous area before project starts to assure desired results and compatibility of all products, and approval.

 

APPLICATION... back to top

Product is supplied at the proper consistency for application, as dilution will reduce efficiency.

Apply by airless spray unit. The sprayer must be clean and dry with no residue in the unit. To ensure best results, clean sprayer as directed and between applications. If sprayer is not available, use a brush or short nap roller. Coat uniformly leaving no gaps, slips or excess. Mix well before use. Do not apply more material per square foot than specified.

Apply CLEAR-SHIELD-UA to surfaces that are structurally sound and cleared of all dirt, oil, grease and foreign matter. Apply at 350-400 sq.ft /gallon on non-porous floors and 275-325 sq.ft. /gallon on porous floors. A second coat is recommended for long-term durability. The second coat may be applied when the first coat is dry. Material will typically dry in less than 4 hours at 72°F. Apply second coat at 400-450 sq.ft/gal.
